A Message from the Union Free Public Library

A few messages from the Union Free Public Library...

 "Little Free Library"

Though the building is not open to the public, there will be a small selection of free books and dvds available on the front porch of Union Library. (These have not been sanitized, but have been handled very minimally over the past month - please take at your own discretion.)

Please take whatever you would like, but do not return the items to us. If you do not see something you like, check back in a few days. We will continue to update the selection.

Stay safe and enjoy!

I thought that students and their families stuck at home might like to know that through their Union Library card, they have access to free downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, tv shows, and movies, through a platform called Hoopla.

We have increased the number of checkouts that each library patron is allowed per month from 5 to 10. We encourage Union students and their families to use this resource as they practice social distancing and staying healthy at home.

To access this resource, they will need their 14-digit library card number and an email account. If that number is not available to them, or they need further instruction about how to set up access, they may reach out to library staff via our email account littlelibrary979@gmail.com or by leaving a message at 860-684-4913.

We at the public library are taking things day by day, so we encourage everyone to visit our website (http://unionctfreepubliclibrary.org/) for information on closings at the library, as well as upcoming projects in the works to help serve our community during this time.

Thank you!

Be well!
