The August 19, 2020 meeting was called to order by L. Fitzgerald at 7:30 pm.
Minutes from previous meeting were tabled.
Mr. Joe Boucher attended the meeting with ‘as built’ maps for the 23 Holland Rd earth removal project. There were a few items that needed to be added to the map. This will be done for the next meeting. The Town will release the Bond once ‘as built’ is complete. Mr. Kubricki – representing the property owners - had concerns that the area/project was not complete.
Mr. Gottier of 5 Town Hall Rd submitted an application for a 30 x 56 barn. The application and plans were reviewed. B. Lambert made a motion to approve, seconded by J. Popovitch. All in favor, motion carried. Permit #20008 issued. $210. Fee paid.
Mr. Stachelsky did not attend the meeting.
Mr. Tomkunas attended the meeting to discuss site work he plans on doing. Requirements for applying to build a house were discussed. Once his has Health Department approval for well and septic he will return for zoning permit for house. He was given a street # of 144 Stickney Hill Rd.
Louis Lacaprucia submitted an application to put a 12 x 16’ prebuilt shed on his property. M. Kneeland made a motion to approve, seconded by B. Lambert. All in favor, motion carried. Permit #20009 issued. $85.00 fee paid.
B. Lambert made a motion to add Scott Mangold and Jeff Lemire to the agenda.
Scott Mangold of 119 Webster Rd attended with some questions. He has a plastic ‘green’ house type lean too against a shed. It is only attached at top with pressure treated wood. He also moved an existing gazebo from on location to another. The commission did not think permits were required for either of these structures. He wants to put an addition on the back of the house 26x30. He will have to submit an application for this and plans. He will be added to the next agenda.
Jeff Lemire attended the meeting with questions regarding adding an addition to 244 Stickney Hill Rd. He will have to obtain approval from the Dept of Health and submit an application.
The Commission discussed the POCD. Mr. Filchak will assist with updates. The list of suggested areas that may need to be addressed will be forwarded to Mr. Filchak. The Commission doesn’t think there should be too many changes required and this should not take too long. Mr. Teeson had some questions.
There was correspondence from Brad Cheney regarding a house he is building on Howard Rd. The plan has changed slightly and the house will be smaller than originally permitted but staying within the footprint of the initial plan. He will need to submit an as built once completed.
B. Kapplan made a motion to adjourn, seconded by B. Lambert. Meeting adjourned at 8:30pm
