The December 7, 2016 meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by L. Fitzgerald.

C. Berner moved to approve minutes, seconded by K. Braithwaite . Minutes of 11/16/2016 approved.
The Commission addressed the application of NELL to renew permit for material removal from 23 Holland Rd. Attorney Steven Weiss, Trustee for NELL and Harold Hopkins were in attendance. Complaints had been received after the last blast. Mr Hopkins indicated that there is blasting approx. once per month. The problem with the last blast was there were no calls made prior to the blast. He will be sure this does not occur again. The Trustees are still hopeful of selling the property. Mr. Hopkins requested a one year permit as the six month permit showed good faith to complete large amount of the work. B. Lambert made a motion to extend permit for one year to Dec. 6, 2017. Seconded by K. Braithwaite. All in favor, motion carried. Windham material requested that trucks be allowed in at 7am for loading, but L. Fitzgerald indicated that the commission would not be comfortable changing existing conditions. Windham had a copy of the continuation of the bond.
Mr. Rick Gottier’s nephew, Scott Mangold attended with application to re-subdivide Webster Rd. property. Needs to have map showing the lot lines for the new lot and the location of the barn that was built. The application was submitted. The cost is $310.00. Public hearing will be held Jan. 4th .
Dallas D’Michael from Stafford Springs attended the meeting with questions related to property at 16 Hall Rd. The file for property showed that a variance had been approved changing the side line to 28’ along one side of the property.
C. Berner made a motion to adjourn. K. Braithwaite seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
