The meeting was called to order by Board of Finance Chair Christopher Santucci at 7:00 pm. Members present: Dennis Sienna, Christopher Santucci, Tim Vennart. 
Also present were First Selectman Dave Eaton.
The minutes from the December 19, 2017 meeting were reviewed. A motion was made by Dennis Sienna to approve the minutes as read. Christopher Santucci seconded the motion. The motion was carried. 
The members reviewed the proposed budgets for fiscal year 2018-19. An exception was the Board of Education budget which has not yet been received due to last minute adjustments on the school expenses as coordinated with the Board of Selectmen. It was proposed that the expenses for heating oil, transportation fuel, liability insurance and workers compensation be transferred to the general government budget from the Board of Education budget.   A motion was made by Dennis Sienna to adjourn at 8:45 pm. Tim Vennart seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
