Special Meeting minutes

The November 21, 2018 special meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm M. Silbermann.

 

Mrs. Goudreau attended the meeting.  A wetlands application for a retaining wall for erosion control had been submitted at a previous meeting.  L. Fitzgerald made a motion to approve wetlands permit, seconded by B. Kapplan.  All were in favor, motion carried.

 

Mr. Hopkins attended the meeting related to inquire for reclamation work on project on Holland Rd.  Barry made a motion to approve a permit for reclamation with NO BLASTING, seconded by M. Kneeland.  All were in favor, motion passed. 

The Special Permit is as follows:

‘At the November 21, 2018 Planning & Zoning meeting the commission approved a 5 (five) month extension of aka New England Land & Lumber, Inc. special permit, which will expire on May 1, 2019.  All conditions from the June 4, 2014 approval still apply and must be met.  With the exception that there will be NO MORE BLASTING.  This permit extension is to allow the contractor to process and remove the material that is remaining and to restore the site.  An As-Build survey shall be submitted at the completion of the project.’

Towne Engineering will be asked to do a final walk through at end of reclamation.

 

Mr. Orefice attending the meeting with an application for a house, garage, barns and a wetlands application for three ponds.  He obtained approval from the health department.

L. Fitzgerald made a motion to approve permit, seconded by B. Kapplan.  Zoning Permit #18011 issued.  $235.00 fee paid.  Wetlands application will be addressed at next regular meeting.

 

Minutes of 11/7/2018 were reviewed.  L. Fitzgerald made a motion to approved as read, seconded by J. Popovitch.  All in favor, minutes approved.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:04 p
