Town of Union Cemetery Fees 2018

1.  Lot Fees:

• Increase to $500 payable to Union Cemetery Fund, as of January 1, 2019

1. Foundation Fees:

• Charge by square foot at a cost of $75 a square foot, payable to Union Cemetery Fund. Example 2’ x 1’2” would be $174 (2’x1.16’x$75=$174), as of October 1, 2018

1. Cremation Fees:

• $100 fee payable to Union Cemetery Fund and $100 fee payable to the Sexton, for a total of $200, as of October 1, 2018

1. Full Burial Fees:

• $100 fee for all full burials paid to Union Cemetery Fund and $100 to the Sexton for a total of $200, as of October 1, 2018

1. Additional Sexton Charges:

• $100 extra charge payable to Sexton for burials performed on Sunday, as of October 1, 2018

Monument Regulations

1. Set regulations for monument size on grave lots, as of October 1, 2018

• Single grave: no greater than 2ft. long, no greater than 14in. wide, flush only
• Two grave: no greater than 4ft long, no greater than 14in wide, no taller than 4ft total monument height
• Three grave lot: no greater than 5ft long, no greater than 14in wide, no taller than 4ft total monument height
• Four or more grave lot: no greater than 6ft long, no greater than 14in wide, no taller than 4ft total monument height

1. Only one upright monument per 2 grave lot or greater
