On Sunday, April 27, 2025, we will be holding our annual “Strides for Scholars,” a 5K road race/walk from the Union Elementary School that will benefit the Union School Association Scholarship Foundation.
Since the first scholarship award in 1995, the Union School Association Scholarship Foundation (USASF) has been assisting Union School students attain higher education goals. To date, 66 scholarships have been awarded to graduating high school seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education and have participated in community service activities.
Mission: The goal of the Union School Association Scholarship Foundation, as part of the Union School Association, is to help provide access to higher education for Union students. As part of this mission, the USASF raises funds for student aid distribution and distributes awards on a fair and non-discriminatory basis.
To ensure the success of this event, we will rely in large part on the support of the business community. You can take part by encouraging participation from among your staff or displaying flyers. There are also sponsorship opportunities available. In exchange, we offer a variety of ways to promote your business, both to our participants and to the community at large. The deadline to be a sponsor is March 31, 2025.
We are excited about this race, and we know that we will enjoy a strong field of runners, walkers, and spectators. You are a local business that Union residents support and appreciate.
