Minutes and Adopted 2022-2023 Budget Attached

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS AND CITIZENS QUALIFIED TO VOTE IN TOWN MEETINGS OF THE TOWN OF UNION, CONNECTICUT will be held in the Town Room at the Union Town Hall, 1043 Buckley Highway Union, Connecticut on May 9, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss and vote (by paper ballot) on the following items:

  1. Shall the town of Union vote to hold biennial municipal elections on the first Monday of May of the odd numbered years in accordance with Public Act 675.

2 .Shall the Town of Union vote to have all Town Officials elected at the November 2023 municipal election, and all Town Officials elected in any Town election thereafter, take office on January 1 following their election, or such other January 1 required by ordinance or statute.

3. Shall the Town of Union vote to approve the Budget for Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023 for the sum of $3,355,632.00.
